Arandell’s Don Landis to Throw Out First Pitch at June 19 St. Louis Cardinals Game

Print & Postal Industry Veteran to Celebrate Father’s Day on the Field

Menomonee Falls, WI, June 14, 2011 — Most dads are looking forward to celebrating Father’s Day by visiting family, spending time on the golf course and grilling out at home. Not Don Landis, though. Arandell’s Vice President of Postal and Government Affairs will spend his day at Busch Stadium, where the St. Louis Cardinals will take on the Kansas City Royals.

In honor of the United States Postal Service Customer Appreciation Day (June 19), Jo Ann Feindt (USPS Great Lakes Area Vice President) invited Don to throw out the first pitch at the Cardinals versus Royals game. Ms. Feindt states, “We sincerely appreciate the wonderful business relationship we have with Don. He is certainly an honorable gentleman and a great partner with the USPS.”

USPS Customer Appreciation Day is set aside for postal employees to show their appreciation to customers who do business with the Postal Service. Don Landis has worked in management of postal affairs at Arandell for over 25 years, following a 15-year career with the USPS. “Sometimes a person is presented with an opportunity that just seems too good to believe, says Landis.” “Since my childhood, I have been an avid, sometimes fanatic, fan of the St. Louis Cardinals. Like a dream come true, the United States Postal Service has asked me to throw out the first pitch at Busch Stadium in Saint Louis on Father’s Day – June 19, 2011. I have been practicing for a month and am ready to make the throw. I’m looking forward to this honor with great excitement and enthusiasm.”
