Color Accuracy

Arandell’s Prepress proofing process offers both hard copy and soft proofs to our clients for color and content approval, which produces the most reliable color accuracy.

We provide our customers with the following soft proofing options:

• Kodak Approval Proof - 150 & 175 Line Screen, 25 Micron Stochastic
• Epson Inkjet Proof
• Kodak InSite Online Proof – content and color.*

All soft proofing options are meticulously calibrated to GRACoL 7.0 specifications. Arandell requires a hard copy proof for use on press.

Online Proofing Accessibility

Soft Proofing via InSite* Prepress Portal allows remote online proofing and photo reviewing. InSite’s Smart Review Proofing Client allows users to pan, zoom, measure, annotate, create change requests, approve/reject images, and simultaneously collaborate across multiple locations with multiple users.

Because Arandell’s InSite Prepress Portal System and Prinergy Software are accessing the same digital master, changes and updates are immediately accepted into the workflow.

Reliability and Consistency

For color-accurate final proofing, Kodak Matchprint Virtual Technology is available. With this option, colors are consistent and accurate (using calibrated monitors in controlled lighting). The need to ship hard copy contract proofs is reduced, or even eliminated, resulting in significant time and costs savings.

Analog Proofing

The Kodak Approval XP-4 2400 DPI Halftone provides the greatest possible confidence in predicting color and appearance of the final printed piece.

• True halftone quality color proofing offering resolutions of 2400 or 2540 dpi
• KODAK RECIPE COLOR Technology provides color halftone dots for spot colors, including both color and screening characteristics (e.g., dot shape and angles)
• Integrates into KODAK PRINERGY workflow

Workflow Connectivity

The Kodak MATCHPRINT Inkjet Proofing System delivers color-accurate proofs. The MATCHPRINT Inkjet System allows Arandell to generate reliable proofs easily and consistently through use of KODAK Proofing Software, KODAK MATCHPRINT Inkjet Media, workflow connectivity, workstations, and Epson 10600 inkjet printers.
